Owners of 1- to 4-unit buildings, whether completely residential or mixed use, can now have their property managed for them without breaking the bank, thanks to NHS Brooklyn's new Affordable Property Management Program. Choose from a menu of services, including rent collection, maintenance, expense control, project management, and more. Learn the details in our monthly info hour and bring your questions!

Lease your property for guaranteed rent and other benefits with the Emergency Housing Voucher Program. Receive 70% of the rent via check every month (the tenant pays the balance), pre-payment of 1-month's rent or security deposit, funds for repairs and to hold the unit as well as referrals to pre-screen-tenants and on-call support, even after the tenant moves in. grant for brooklyn veterans!

NHS Brooklyn is offering Brooklyn veterans with mobility challenges due to an accident, injury, serious illness, or age a grant of up to $20,000 to make modifications to their homes to allow them to continue living there independently.

The veteran may own, rent, or live in a home or apartment that needs modification.

Eligible projects include wheelchair ramps, lifts, roll-in showers, doorway widening, and other accessibility modifications.

Total household income limit is 120% of Area Median Income (AMI) for the Metro NYC area.

Mobility challenge does not need to be combat-related.

Landlord or property owner must agree to modifications if the veteran is not on the deed.

Applications processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
