Landlord Training Course
NHS Brooklyn offers a Landlord Training course for current and future owners of 2- to 4-unit homes. This course meets HUD Education requirements for loans and grants. During the COVID-19 pandemic, this course will be offered as a two-hour webinar. You must both register for and pay for the course. Please see our Upcoming Events page for how to do both.
The two-hour session provides what every owner needs to know about NYC regulations, fair housing and lease rules, and multi-unit property insurance. Prepayment of the course fee* is required and may be paid securely with a credit or debit cards using PayPal. No PayPal account is required; simply sign in as a guest and click "Pay with Debit or Credit Card." You may also pay with funds in your PayPal account, if you prefer.
Step 1: Pay the tuition. Chose a date and time (3:00-5:00pm or 6:00-8:00pm) from the pulldown menu below that best describes your situation: Future Landlord or Current Landlord.
Step 2: Register. Between when you pay for the training and the class for which you registered (there will be a delay), you'll be emailed a registration link to join the training on that date. If you don't see the email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder.

**Course fee includes Certification for HUD Education Requirements, which is necessary for certain loan and grant applications. HUD Certifications are valid for 12 months from issue date**
