With the Delta variant--a new, more contagious, more dangerous version of COVID-19--spreading in the community, testing is more important than ever.


You can be tested for COVID-19 and the Delta variant for FREE on mobile test vans parked around the city, including right here in Brooklyn, each week.


The vans will be parked at the locations below on the days and times indicated. Testing on these vans is free.

To find a drugstore, urgent care center, or other location offering the vaccine, use the map at the top of the page but call before you go to find out if there will be a fee. You will NOT be charged for a test at a NYC, New York State, or mobile van location. Private companies and urgent care centers may charge a fee, but if you have insurance, you will not have a co-pay. Know before you go and do what's best for you!

Americans are lucky! We have a choice of vaccines

  • Pfizer Vaccine (two doses) is available to anyone 12 years and older.

  • Moderna vaccine (two doses) is available to anyone 18 and older.

  • J&J vaccine (one dose) is available to anyone 18 and older.

Vaccines for anyone age 12 to 17

  • Young people 12-15, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to be vaccinated.

  • All 16- and 17-year-olds can bring written consent, or their parents/guardians can provide verbal consent over the phone.

Transportation Assistance to & from Vaccine Sites

New York City offers free transportation services to its residents ages 65+ and individuals with disabilities (ages 16-64) to and from vaccination sites. Eligible passengers can request to be picked up anywhere in the five boroughs and taken to any vaccination site located within the City.
