NHS Brooklyn, a Housing Ambassador with the Department of Housing Preservation & Development (HPD), is holding large public events as well as smaller workshops at their office and other locations on how to apply for affordable housing lotteries using Housing Connect.

Highly successful events with hundreds of attendees were held at New Hope Family Worship Center and at the Central Library at Grand Army Plaza (shown above).

Attendees who need credit counseling as well as those who applied but were turned down due to poor credit are referred to our nonprofit partner Ariva for free credit counseling.
